Sacraments

Baptism

Baptism is the sacrament of spiritual rebirth through which we are adopted as children of God. It is a joyous occasion for the individual, their family, and the whole church family. At Immanuel Lutheran Church of Rosenthal, we celebrate the sacrament of Baptism with love and warmth, welcoming new members into our community of faith.

First Communion

First Communion is a special and memorable moment in the life of a young believer. It is the first time they receive the body and blood of Jesus Christ in the form of bread and wine. At ILCR, we cherish the opportunity to guide and support our young members as they take this important step in their faith journey.

Confirmation

Confirmation is a significant rite of passage in the journey of faith. It is an opportunity for individuals to affirm their commitment to the Christian faith and to be strengthened by the Holy Spirit. Our confirmation process at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Rosenthal is designed to nurture and empower our youth as they make this personal and public declaration of faith.

Matrimony

The sacrament of Matrimony is a sacred union between two individuals who commit to a lifetime of love, mutual support, and faithfulness. At ILCR, we believe in the sanctity of marriage and offer our support to couples as they prepare for this blessed union.

Confessions

Confession is a sacrament of healing and reconciliation. It provides an opportunity for individuals to express remorse for their sins, seek forgiveness, and experience the grace of God's mercy. Our church provides a compassionate and confidential environment for the sacrament of Confession, where individuals can find spiritual healing and renewal.

Anointing the Sick

Anointing the Sick is a sacrament of comfort and strength for those who are facing illness or frailty. It is a time when the church community comes together to offer prayers, support, and the anointing of oil for the healing and well-being of the individual. At Immanuel Lutheran Church of Rosenthal, we extend our care and prayers to those in need of this special sacrament.
